At Blackwood Drive the main focus is vibe and accuracy. It’s rare for a studio to sound this good and have natural light. We’ve got both. The space is warm, relaxed, and designed to inspire creativity.
Use our setup or plug in your laptop and treat our studio like a second home. We’re streamlined to work quick and easy either way.
Our monitoring setup is centered around custom mains built by our down the street neighbors Ex Machina and pristine Apogee converters that let you hear every detail with clarity and precision. We also have Yamaha NS10’s and a JBL 5.1 system for film work.
For recording we have a custom built fully featured vocal booth. It’s designed for maximum isolation, comfort, and visibility. Gear wise we keep the front end clean and modern—but if you're looking to add depth and color, we’ve curated a selection of vintage gear ready to shape your sound.
And for film projects, our 70-inch Sharp screen provides crisp picture reference—perfect for editing and mixing with accuracy.
